Ripe, dark-toned fruit, licorice, cloves, mocha and new leather are all amplified in this decidedly overt Pomerol. It will be interesting to see how this comes together with élevage. The oak is a bit strong today, but it works with the wine's style. This is promising.* - 04/2024
